Dr. Mathota is a highly qualified veterinary surgeon with a passion for animal care. He completed his degree in veterinary medicine at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Peradeniya in 2006. Following his graduation, Dr. Mathota began working in small animal practice, where he gained valuable experience in providing high-quality care to pets.
Dr. Mathota’s commitment to furthering his education and expertise led him to pursue an internship at the Colombo Municipal Veterinary Department. He continued to develop his skills by working in a private animal hospital in Colombo for 10 years, during which time he completed both local and foreign training programs on veterinary surgery and radiology.
Dr. Mathota’s dedication to sharing his knowledge with others has led him to work as a visiting lecturer at the University of Wayamba. Currently, he is consulting on veterinary radiology and ultrasound scanning at several leading animal hospitals in Colombo.

Dr. Sewwandi is a highly skilled veterinary surgeon who completed her degree in veterinary medicine at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Peradeniya in 2007. Following her graduation, she gained valuable experience by completing her veterinary internship at the National Zoological Garden in Dehiwala.
Dr. Sewwandi’s passion for animal care led her to work in a private animal hospital in Colombo for 9 years. During this time, she gained extensive experience in veterinary medicine and surgery. Her commitment to providing the best possible care to her patients led her to work in the veterinary diagnostic laboratory, where she gained expertise in diagnosing and treating a wide range of animal diseases.
After gaining years of experience in private practice, Dr. Sewwandi decided to start her own clinic. She founded Superpetcare Animal Clinic in Malabe, where she continues to provide high-quality veterinary care to her patients. As a senior veterinary surgeon at Superpetcare Animal Clinic, Dr. Sewwandi brings her wealth of experience and expertise to our team.
